Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Best Local Cleaners strata portal collects, how it is used, and the privacy boundaries between managers, committee members and residents.
1. Information we collect
For portal users we store your sign-in identity (Firebase UID and email), display name, the properties and role assigned to you, and a log of portal activity (sign-in, invite claim) for security. For each building we store cleaning schedule links, server-recorded attendance times, completed cleaning reports, and feedback submitted through the portal.
2. How we use it
We use this information to provide property-scoped transparency (schedules, attendance, reports), to manage access and invitations, to route and respond to feedback, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.
3. Privacy boundaries
- Managers / committee see only the buildings assigned to them.
- Committee & residents never see invoices, payroll, internal staff notes, cleaner personal details, or precise GPS coordinates.
- Residents (QR) can submit feedback and see only “last cleaned / next visit” — never reports, photos or private records.
4. Storage, sharing and security
Data is stored on secured infrastructure managed by Canvas ICT. Access is restricted by role and enforced server-side. We share information only with Best Local Cleaners staff who manage the service, and the relevant strata company, as needed to deliver the portal. Authenticated photos are streamed only to authorised users and are never public.
5. Your choices & contact
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your portal account information, subject to record-keeping obligations. Providing contact details with resident feedback is optional. For privacy requests, contact Best Local Cleaners. Your use is also governed by our Terms & Conditions.
